Compulsory repayment uses the 2026–27 ATO marginal schedule (nil to $69,528, 15c/$1 to $129,717, then $9,028 + 17c/$1 to $186,050, then 10% above that). Indexation and the compulsory repayment are applied once a year; self-chosen round-ups are paid/applied once your desired threshold has been achieved and approved by you to be released. Your income grows by the pay rise you set each year, while repayment thresholds are assumed to rise 3% a year. Actual results will differ. This is a simplified planning estimate, not tax or financial advice.
How it works

Four steps, zero effort

01

Link your bank

Connect your everyday spending account. We use read-only access — we can see your transactions but never touch your money without permission.

02

Upload your HECS statement

Your statement allows us to input your existing HECS debt, and obtain your unique BPAY code, which will be used for your personal HECSHelp account.

03

Spend normally

Every purchase gets rounded up to the nearest dollar. We track the difference silently in the background — no action needed from you.

04

Watch debt shrink

Once your round-ups hit your selected amounts ($5, $10, $15, $20) we send a BPAY payment directly to your HECS account with your funds. You get a notification. That's it.
